Bernie January Jr. is the Creative Director and Front End Developer at Heartsleeve. Bernie has been formally trained in multiple artistic mediums + full stack technologies, is a graduate of Tulane University with a degree in Neuroscience, and has led 200+ user-centered design initiatives that range from comprehensive brand identity to innovative web experiences.

Bernie was Lead Design Mentor at Young Creative Agency, a design studio connecting underrepresented young talent to real world work and support networks that increase inclusion and equity in the creative economy. He was Art Director and Co-creator of YEP Design Works, a design studio and workforce development program training creative New Orleans youth to become creative professionals at the Youth Empowerment Project (YEP). He is a 2017 Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) Fleurish award winner. Natasha Noordhoff is the Lead Screen Printer and Partnership Director at Heartsleeve. She develops relationships with new and existing Cause Partners to collaborate in meaningful ways that support work to put Louisiana communities first. Natasha is Managing Partner in the collaborative, women-owned retail store The Good Shop.

A graduate of Tulane University, Natasha was the Development Director for Gulf Restoration Network, an advocacy non-profit working to organize Gulf residents and protect coastal communities. She was a member of the local Gulf South Rising initiative, a regional movement highlighting the impact of the global climate crisis on Gulf South communities.
